Kolkata Gold Price is a free website by ByteShades that publishes recorded gold rates for Kolkata in 18K, 22K and 24K, per gram and per 10 grams, with day-by-day price history and a jewellery price calculator. It is for buyers in Kolkata who want a reference rate before visiting a jeweller, and it is available in English and Bengali. It is free to use and needs no account.

What it does

  1. 18K, 22K and 24K rates per gram and per 10 grams, with a separate 24K bar rate when a record has one.
  2. Every rate shows its observation time in IST, so a stale rate is labelled as the latest rate, not today's.
  3. Price history uses the last observation of each day; missing days are left empty, never estimated.
  4. A calculator that adds making charges and GST to estimate the full jewellery price.
  5. The whole site is available in English and Bengali.
